Deputy Regional Representatives
A Deputy Regional Representative is a person who is active with an emergency service organization, nominated by the associated region’s Board member, and appointed by the Board to support the purposes of the SCBCF within their region.
Each Board member may identify one (1) person, born from the region’s SCBCF sponsors, to act as a Deputy Regional Representative, as needed to conduct/support the SCBCF’s purposes. If during a vote a quorum of Board members fails, the Board Chairperson may assign voting authority to one or more Deputy Regional Representatives as an alternate to a Board member(s) to conduct business. The Board Chair must define this voting authority as soon as the meeting is convened, which shall be noted in the meeting minutes.
